That patio used to be where the family room with wall-length fireplace stood.
Since we are adding a crawl space, the entire room needed to be removed before being rebuilt in the exact same spot.
The kitchen demolition started too.
So we started looking at hardwood floors and weighing the pros and cons of kitchen cabinet colors and kitchen layout designs.
We are not the quickest decision makers, and it has felt a little stressful to be on a little bit of a timeline, since we need to order most of our materials within the next few weeks in order to get them shipped on time and not cause delays in the process... because I cannot handle delays very well, having officially been squatting at my in-laws for 7 months come January 1st!
